Places to get your volunteer hours.
The first event you may be interesting in attending is the Spring Break Day Camp. The theme for this Brownie day camp will be sports and fitness. It will be held at Cookieland March 16-20, 2009. On Tuesday, the Oklahoma City Thunder will be hosting a clinic for the girls. Your service will be appreciated every day day if possible, but if you can only come on certain days that would be great too.
The second event is the Daisy Day on May 2 at Camp E-Ko-Wah. This will be a one day event for just the Daisy’s. May 3rd is the open house for parents to come and see Camp E-Ko-Wah. This will be the time to share your favorite camp memory with all in attendance.
The last event for the spring is the All Brownie Camp (ABC) Day at Camp E-Ko-Wah on May 2-3. This will be an opportunity for the Brownies to come and experience their first overnight camping trip. As an older Girl Scout, you will have the chance to share your experiences with the younger girls and show them what camping is all about.
If you are interesting in helping with these events, please contact Megan Stanek at mstanek@gswestok.org or Caroline Schuepbach at cschuepbach@gswestok.org or 405-702-7731. There is a limited amount of spots available for each event so please sign up early.
We look forward to seeing you at these events,
